GRACE'S FINAL SUBMISSION succeeds in delivering the frustration and fiery passion it promises readers. I am a fan of both BDSM and ménage - combine those elements with a great story and you have yourself a winner!

Grace Sinclair is a thirty-something divorcee looking for something new and exciting to get her back on track with her sexuality after experiencing a disappointing sex life in a loveless marriage. Grace soon finds herself jumping in head first to the exciting BDSM culture when she commits to being auctioned off as a willing slave. She is quite popular, appealing to the club's submissives as well as its dominants. Her icy exterior and commanding presence suggests she is a Domme, but internally, she longs to be told what to do and how to behave. It will take a strong and experienced Dom to manage the physical and emotional needs of the complex Ms. Sinclair.

Best friends Michael Cooper and Jason Smith have been searching for that perfect submissive for far too long. They crave a woman who will act as their slave while maintaining her own identity as well as cater to their every whim. That means managing their household and all it entails - yes, that includes cooking and cleaning and bills, the whole nine yards. They finally come to realize in order to get exactly what they want; they will have to buy it.

My first thought was: "What a bunch of cavemen" - but then I remind myself they didn't ask for a princess, they asked for a slave. Ultimately, Michael the Dom and Jason the Switch were sexy and charismatic and extremely likable characters. If you are looking for some hot male on male action here, you are out of luck. Michael and Jason stand firm on their "watch only" policy, there will be no handling of another man's "junk".

What story would be complete without some conflict and a misunderstanding? After the trio has a devastating misunderstanding that forces Grace into hiding, author Sarah Kingston definitely spices up the story when she turns the table on the dominant men. As punishment, Michael and Jason are forced to submit to Grace. I am not so sure that this would actually happen in a real D/s relationship, but it makes for some very entertaining reading!

GRACE'S FINAL SUBMISSION is a great BDSM ménage with a unique flair that is sure to keep you glued to the page until the very end.

FREEING KIRA is one of the most unique and engrossing story lines I have read in a long time while staying on this side of fantasy land.

Kira Walker is first introduced as a woman named Sara. After overhearing her husband's plot to kill her; she flees and assumes a new identity. After successfully evading him for years, he finally catches up to her, but before being captured, she seeks refuge on a nearby ship. When the ship's owner, Gabe, discovers her presence, her world as she once knew it completely disappeared.

I especially enjoyed the initial meeting and interaction between Kira and Gabe - horrifying, exciting, eye-opening and jaw-dropping (and comical, very comical) just to name a few of the extreme emotions I felt - seriously, I really was stressed out while reading the scene! In fact, I was on the edge of my seat throughout the entire book. The characters were so real to me – they were successful in throwing my emotions out of whack.

Nothing about this book played out as I expected...well, maybe one thing did, but the twists and unexpected turns were such a delightful surprise and I enjoyed every minute of it. There were many aspects that made this story unique.

Going into FREEING KIRA, I knew a few things...I knew she would constantly be stalked by a psycho and I knew Gabe would be an uber dominant and there would be lots of BDSM, among other things. Well, it turns out that I knew nothing, because surprisingly, the story didn't focus on her crazy, criminal husband - that was more like the back-story.

I find that I have grown somewhat tired of the sexy heroine with the psycho stalker story line, but let's face it; there are limited plot themes out there. This story, however, really focused on Kira and Gabe discovering who they really are at first individually and ultimately, as a couple. There was a lot of self-discovery among all parties involved. I was very surprised that the men in FREEING KIRA were not Doms - I totally expected B.J. Wane to take that path, but she didn't. This read is actually BDSM light, incorporating mostly a little over the knee spanking with other elements of BDSM mostly implied by the mention of props in the background.

FREEING KIRA was a really a great story. I am really hoping to see more about the characters in the future. I would love to know more about the secondary characters, Will and Alec - they are totally charming and I feel that they have a story to tell...hint, hint. I love them and want more of them! This is a good choice if you are looking for an emotional, but not sappy story with BDSM elements and sexy, smart characters. I hope you love it as much as I did!

When I say he takes it, I mean he takes it with a fierce passion and the dominance you would expect from a Marine. Whew! It is a smokin' good romance!

Separately, Brody and Pepper are dealing with their own internal demons. Brody struggles with being his own person as a Marine and a son, while Pepper fights the never-ending battle of sibling rivalry with her older sister, Penny. As they deal with their own personal issues, their bond is infinitely strengthened and they both realize that this two week "fling" they have agreed to is destined to be so much more than just a fling.

As short novels go, CARELESS WHISPER is a perfect example of how it should be done. There was just the perfect amount of conflict and romantic tension - I felt completely satisfied with the final resolution. I can't wait to read more about these sexy men in this new series I LOVE MY MARINE.

She knew that bumping into her old boyfriend, Liam, was inevitable upon her return to her hometown, she just didn't know it would be on her FIRST day back. When Liam unexpectedly appears at her brother's house, all the emotion and love that she once felt for him slams into her like a ton of bricks and she realizes that one thing is for certain, she is definitely still in love with him.

Liam was a likable character from the beginning - even with his faults, he was a catch. As an adult, Liam personifies sexy - an attentive single father and a headstrong male, he is determined to show he is a better man than the one she left. Getting Teegan back isn't going to be such an easy task - she has to learn to trust him again and get over the heartbreak she has suffered at the hands of other men. Watching their relationship grow was such a treat. Teegan really didn't make things easy for Liam - I love it when the heroine puts up a fight, it makes everything much more exciting.

SECOND CHANCE LOVE is a fun and sexy story with a great cast of characters. It will leave you a little nostalgic about the past and faith that life will work out in the future. Check it out - it is a guaranteed feel good read.

STRANDED shoots a hot flare into the Vegas sky and adds some spice to an otherwise bleak situation. After reading this quickie, I just might re-think the possibilities the next time I am stranded.

Other than a irreversible tragedy, I can't imagine many things worse than getting stranded during the holidays - it's so much more than just an inconvenience, being stranded ruins all the plans you have carefully planned for months in some cases.

When Gretchen and Russ find themselves stranded with no place to sleep, a sexy stranger trips into their life and offers to share his hotel room with the couple, making their Christmas mishap a whole lot more interesting for the trio. Author S. Michael plays it smart by adding a twist to the story that lends a hand in wrapping things up quite nicely!

Quickies are tough to pull off convincingly, but S. Michael does a fantastic job at creating a sexy and believable story in 26 pages – I am definitely impressed!

CANDY'S KISSES is one of my new favorites - what a treat! I can't wait to see what else Carys Weldon has in her bag of tricks! There is just the right amount of sweet and heat to leave you feeling sated. CANDY'S KISSES will make you scream, "Ditch her and own me!"

TAMING PARADISE was a lot more tame than I expected based on the brief description of the book.

Amy coerces her friend, Shannon, into escaping to a hedonistic paradise to wash away the heartache she has suffered at the hands of her cheating fiance, Randolph. The pair throws caution to the wind and embarks on a journey of sexual discovery. Shannon is enticed into participating in the most outrageous sexual experience of her life and is sucked into a world of pleasure she hardly knew existed.

I am certainly willing to overlook some elements that lack believability if the rest of the story rocks my socks. However, while reading TAMING PARADISE, I just couldn't get past the fact that Shannon didn't recognize the son of her fiancé of more than 6 years. I mean really? Even if she had never met him, she HAD to have seen photos, right? It is obvious that this thought has crossed Ms. Dayne's mind as well, based on the number of times the characters mention their surprise at Shannon's lack of recognition of Brandon.

Then, my excitement level soared as Brandon introduced her to the "kinky" world of BDSM. I thought this would surely kick up the heat, but honestly, Cassandre Dayne really missed the opportunity to add some spice to this mediocre dish by glazing over this seductive and sensual lifestyle.

Hunter Dex is the perfect mix of sweet and sexy, naughty and nice. Who would complain about working if all your subjects were as hot and alluring as the elusive Hunter Dex? Call me a work-a-holic because the only time I would be putting down the camera would be to partake in the pleasures Mr. Dex happened to be offering! FULL EXPOSURE is bound to force your libido into overtime too!

Who would have thought a routine business trip would turn into such a life changing experience? Certainly not friends and co-workers, Darryl, Mason and Val. Working for a mid-sized airline flying the Pacific Northwest, they must plan for the possibility of being grounded due to erratic weather. Thinking this trip would be business as usual, imagine their surprise when an impending snowstorm leaves them stranded in Spokane.

The story really begins when the 3 friends discover there is only one room available in the city and it only has a king sized bed...for the three of them. Though they are friends, Val and Darryl are in a relationship, so, of-course Mason feels like a third wheel, who wouldn't?

I couldn't have been more excited to read about 3 hot friends being forced into a sleeping arrangement that was bound to get them into some steamy situations. Val's character set my nerves on edge with her neediness from the get-go. When the first sentence started out painting a picture of her pouty expression followed by the tears that "pooled in her eyes" just a few short paragraphs later, I was confused at her emotional outburst. It just didn't make sense to me. I can understand being upset about being stuck in a city that's not your own, but crying? What in the world was she crying about? In her line of work, this this can't be the first time this has happened. She is "stuck" with two handsome men who both have the hots for her...I mean, geez...it could be worse!

Aside from Val's emotional status, the pace at which the threesome's relationship transpired was just too quick for me. There was very little time for character development and I just didn't feel like I knew them well enough. I would have liked to have seen a little more tentative flirtation as opposed to the bottle rocket speed the three of them went from friends to lovers. It just wasn't believable to me.

I love menage books. Menage is my favorite sub-genre of erotica, so I am used to escalated plots and fast pace in which characters move from friends to lovers, but this one was just missing something. I really, really wanted to love this book. It had all the makings of a great sexy read, but in the end, it fell flat and left me longing for a more.

BITELESS IN SEATTLE is a paranormal romance about two egotistical authors vying for the title of "Author of the Year" at the Writers of Romance conference and doing their darnedest not to fall in love.

The blurb held promises of passion and drama that I just didn't feel. Short stories are tough to get right. I thought the premise of the story was a winner and unique, I just don't think it was long enough to allow the story to unfold without feeling rushed.

I really liked the idea of the top-selling romance writers, Rex the vampire and Paige the feline shifter being forced to play on the same team when Paige is signed on to Rex's publishing company without his knowledge. Of course, the sexual tension and rivalry are present forom the very beginning and it is obvious the only solution is to take a tumble between the sheets! It would have been nice to have seen a bit more shenanigans and flirtation between the two before jumping in the sack.


Good idea, but the execution needs improvement.
