Imprinted by Darcy Sweet

ImprintedImprinted by Darcy Sweet

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

IMPRINTED gets 5 very naughty star from me. It was chocked full of hot, hot, hotness!

Everyone has fantasies...especially teenage boys, but their fantasies are more like a shot in the dark as opposed to something that would actually ever happen. When Jacob finds himself in a precarious situation with the couple he does lawn work for, he gets way more than he bargained for from Mr & Mrs. Dean. His summer reality blew the elements of his fantasies right out of the water!

This quick read is packed with steam, but there is a story mixed in with all the sex. Darcy Sweet, please, please, please tell me you are going to continue this story!

Three Hearts One Love by Ronna Gage

Three Hearts One LoveThree Hearts One Love by Ronna Gage

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

THREE HEARTS ONE LOVE is like having a delicious buffet of desserts in front of you and being able to eat them all without any of the guilt. Get ready to indulge because this is a tasty read indeed!

Dr. Karma Rodden is a smart woman--she knows better than to pass up an opportunity...or two when it is dangling like a tasty carrot right in front of her face. With a name like "Karma," I would have expected her to be a little more conscientious of the potential repercussions of dating two of the most eligible bachelors in town.

On one side, she has the sexy as sin cowboy and ranch owner, Dylan McCoy who is a great match for the animal loving veterinarian she happens to be. He is someone who can get down and dirty on the farm and look smokin' hot while doing it. I loved their down to earth interaction. They were both equally as comfortable delivering a calf as they were rolling round making love in the hay. It is obvious that he loves and cares for her.

Then, on the other side, there is the charming and polished, but dirty talking attorney, Jaxon Hollister. He appeals to an entirely different set of animal senses with his jet set lifestyle, flashy cars and pull-your-skirt-up-so-I-can-bang-you-up-against-the-wall brand of lovin'. Jaxon's cool confidence and sense of adventure was totally endearing and the thing that made him even more likeable was that he was not at all shy about letting her know that he was madly in love with her. Well, shoot! I wouldn't know which one to pick either!

She is really enjoying the best of both worlds and as long as she can keep the two paths from crossing, everything will be just fine...it shouldn't be tough to keep the two very different men separate, right? The story wouldn't be nearly as exciting if it were only that simple. You know that karma always has a way of coming back and biting you when you least expect it! When the truth is finally revealed, Jaxon and Dylan have a few surprises of their own for the two-timing vet.

THREE HEARTS ONE LOVE had me covering my eyes and and holding my breath as I waited for Karma's very steamy worlds to collide. Deception is very nerve wracking! Just when I thought I had it all figured out, Ronna Gage pulled out all the stops to end the trio's story with a bang. If you are looking for a steamy, nail biting romance that is sure to kept you on edge, then look no further!

Destiny For Three by Lilly Hale

Destiny For ThreeDestiny For Three by Lilly Hale

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

DESTINY FOR THREE was a totally out of character book for me to read, much less like. I am not fond of historical romance or time travel, so, I am not sure why I even picked it up, but I am glad I did! The one thing it did have that I totally love reading about is ménage...two sexy men and one woman torn between them.

Modern day Elise Davis wakes up from an accident and finds herself not only in another time, but also another body! In 1850, Elise realizes that her life as Elizabeth McBride is not going to be a simple one. It is obvious from the beginning that Ms. McBride is a very difficult person to deal with and so, Elise makes it her personal mission to right all the wrongs done by Elizabeth McBride.

When Elise/Elizabeth's guardian dies, she is forced into the care of Trey and Radcliffe Kingston. Years ago, the Kingston brothers were almost ruined because of Elizabeth McBride's vicious nature and they are none too excited about dealing with the manipulative brat they once knew. It doesn't take them long to see that she has truly changed her ways...almost like she is actually a different person! Though they are skeptical, they cannot help but to fall under her spell once again.

The chemistry between Trey, Radcliffe and Elise is on fire! Radcliffe is the dominant "disciplinarian" who enjoys playing a little rough at times and then there is the romantic and gentle lover, Trey who is determined to protect Elise at all costs. It's really no wonder Elise is caught in the middle of the two -- together they are perfect for her as they appeal to her carnal side while providing the tenderness and love that she desires.

Lilly Hale does an excellent job putting a new spin on the "time-travel" aspect of the story. So, if you are not partial to time travel, don't let that dissuade you from reading this fantastic read, or you will certainly be cheating yourself out of some great entertainment.

Saved by One, Shared by TwoSaved by One, Shared by Two by Sylvia Ryan

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Honestly, I wasn't sure if this was going to be the book for me. I am not a big fan of the "end of the world" type books, but a quick glance at the blurb held promise, so I thought I would give it a go. According to experts, just one burst from an electromagnetic pulse, also called EMP, would wipe out anything that runs on electrical components ultimately aiding in the break down society as we know it. Doesn't sound so fun, huh? Have you ever thought about what you might do without the modern conveniences we have grown so accustomed to, such as, electricity, transportation and access to clean water and food whenever we desire?  Well, Ms. Ryan has the right idea...if society is going to hell in a hand basket, then please Dear GOD hook me up with two fine men...

Tough as nails prison guard, Julia was prepared for an end oft the world type of scenario when the EMP crippled the world, or so she thought. When unforeseen circumstances leave her face down in the dirt and dying, she is SAVED BY ONE handsome stranger named Arden. Once Julia has recovered from her injuries, she busies herself with making Arden's house a home. It is obvious from the beginning that there is a mutual attraction between the two, though they never act on it.

When the gorgeous Ben shows up on their doorstep, he is welcomed with open arms and legs and mouth...not quite that quickly, but he definitely raised the bar on the farm. It was impossible for Julia to deny her attraction to Ben. Julia decides not to act on her feelings for either man as it was obvious that the two were in competition for her affections. Believing that they could not possibly love her and the only reason for their attention was because she was the only female accessible to the, therefore the only option to warm their beds and to slake their sexual desires. After much persuasion, Julia succumbs to their seductions and allows herself to be SHARED BY TWO.

Sylvia Ryan takes a topic that has been done a thousand times before, adds a little spin on it and breathes new life into an otherwise boring story. I thought she did a fantastic job of keeping the characters on a realistic timeline in regards to becoming intimate, especially with respect to introducing the menage to the story. It could have felt cheap and dirty, but it was sweet and hot. This would be a great read for anyone looking for a hot book to read with an entertaining and fresh spin on the end of the world scenario. I can't imagine a better way to spend my days...with two sexy men all to myself!

Three to Ride by Sophie Oak

Three to Ride (Nights in Bliss, Colorado, #1)Three to Ride by Sophie Oak

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

There is just something about the way Sophie Oak pulls a naughty story together that just gets me going! There are only so many story lines that an author can make up that make them seem unique, not just the same story with different characters. Although all of the stories I have read by this author have similar elements, they are just different enough that I can actually read them back to back without getting bored!

This one was about twin brothers searching for their perfect woman who will allow them both to be her husbands. When Rachel Swift settles down in the special little town of Bliss, she has survival on the brain and has thoughts of men and new relationships no where near top of mind...that is until she meets the smokin' hot twins.

This was a very entertaining read and now I am off to see how Callie fairs in her reunion with her hot little male duo.

Defying Pack Law by Eve Langlais

Defying Pack LawDefying Pack Law by Eve Langlais

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Who says running away will never make you free? Well, Kenny Loggins said that, but he didn't know what he was talking about, because things worked out just fine for Dana...

Dana fears the life that is her destiny. As Lycan female, she is rare and should be treasured and against Dana's desires, she must be shared among the males in her pack. She witnessed her mother's misery and is determined to avoid that life for herself. In an effort to dodge her destiny, Dana runs away from her pack and her future, imposing a life of solitude and loneliness upon herself in order to escape the miserable image she conjured in her mind of how life would be in a polygamous relationship .

After a series of events, she finds herself in a precarious situation. Her mind is at war with her body and she realizes she must put her past misconceptions out of her head and follow her heart.

If you know me, you probably know that Eve Langlais and her characters have a special place in my heart. She truly has a gift for creating likeable characters that you want and want to be...if anyone is taking orders, I will take one of each: John, Kody and Nathan. I might need to get my whip out on occasion to get Nathan's ass in line, but I will take him, jealousy, temper and all! She combines just the right amount of humor, drama, and let us not forget sexy scenes...oh, yeah, they are good!

So, I'll wrap this up and quit gushing over Langlais like a little school girl. Bottom line is: it gets my seal of approval from start to finish and everything in the middle. If you are looking for a hot and sexy shifter read that combines menage with a good story and some great characters, then you really should check this out.

Be With Me by Maya Banks

Be With MeBe With Me by Maya Banks

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I wasn't sure how this book would finally land on me, but I have to say--I really liked it!

Picture the lonely rich girl who befriends the town juvenile delinquents--one is sensitive, smart and self motivated with an alpha side she didn't know existed--another is a "meat head" who is all testosterone and rough around the edges--the other is tender and caring and treats her like a fragile glass doll-- but they are all smokin' hot and totally in love with Reggie. Ten years later, as adults, they realize after a night of passion (when they all have sex with her at the same time) that they would rather share her than make her choose or give her up. Will she go for it? It's going to take some convincing, but they are a pretty persuasive trio...

I enjoyed the entire book. There was no part that lulled--the characters were well developed. In the beginning, I was thinking: I can hardly keep up with the demands of one man, much less 3--good lord, she is a goddess. By the time I finished the book, I was kinda jealous of her ;-)

Warning: If you didn't catch on from the review, there is F-M-M-M sexual situations...guess that would be called a menage a quatro??

Beyond Eden by Kele Moon

rating:  ★★★★★
recommended for those who enjoy the dark side of romance, M/M, menage and BDSM

Review:

I want to start out by saying that I really loved this book. It wasn't your typical smut-tacular read. Now, don't get me wrong, it was packed full of deliciously hot, dirty hot and scary hot smut.

It was really tough for me to categorize this book...it's hard to explain the tone. The relationship between Evie-girl, Danny-boy and Paul-guy was not just a menage--no, it was way more complicated than that. I really hate giving away key plot details in a review, so it makes it more difficult. All I will say is that I can't remember reading a menage book where the characters involved in the menage have such distinctly different relationships--Eve & Paul, Eve & Danny, Paul & Danny and finally Eve, Danny & Paul. It was fascinating and frustrating, but not frustrating in a bad way--it frustrated me in a way that made me get sucked into the story even more! It would also be fair to say that I found it a little bit disturbing--but not in a way that turned me off and I would be hesitant to admit it turned me on.

I shelved this book as "smut not fluffy", because despite the fun looking cover, there was a lot of dark shit going on in this book. There were also a lot of fun and exciting situations the characters experienced. I felt like I was being told a story about the lives of these three very tortured and very interesting individuals. I felt it had a little bit of a Megan Hart kind of vibe to it.

If you are a fan of BDSM and like menage reads, then you should check this out. I will definitely read more by this author. I am looking forward to what she has in store for the future.

Monica's Secret (Erogenous Zones #1) by Saskia Walker

rating:  ★★★★★
recommended for those who love menage reads with psychic hotties and dominant men who interact sexually.

review:  I will be the first to admit that I am a total menage addict and find that as long as i am in the right mindset, I can find something positive in the smut I read. This book was a total surprise and was by far the best menage book I have read in a while...it really raises the bar for all my other smut ratings :-)

Monica is a psychic who reads sexual energy by touching people and objects people have come in contact with. She is the housekeeping manager in a posh hotel, so you can probably imagine how most of her days must be--flooded with erotic images on a very regular basis. As a result, she does her best to keep her hands to herself and pretty much keeps to herself. Monica is single and has few if any friends outside her 2 psychic sisters...that is until Owen and Alec charge into her life. From the second she meets them, she is pummeled with vivid images of their sexual experiences and exploits. These very hot, very domineering men make quick work of tearing down her defensive walls and building up her sexual appetite. Owen and Alec were one of the hottest same sex couples I have ever read about! Yum!

I was totally consumed from the very beginning of this book. Not only are the characters likable, smart and hot, their sexual encounters were off the charts...wow! The cherry on top was that there was actually a story I was interested in and I truly wanted to know the outcome. I just can't say enough great things about this book. I really encourage you to get it if you are even a little intrigued by menage reads.

M/M/F

The Beach House by J.T. Harding

rating:   ★★★★☆
review: There was definitely a lot of emotional turmoil going on in this book that I wasn't expecting. This is more than just an erotic menage read.

Jenn is a beautiful, but beaten down woman...beaten down physically and beaten down emotionally. It sounds like she has always used sex as a way to make her feel good about herself...to the point of creating quite the reputation for herself. Living on an island where people vacation is the best thing for her because she can have her flings with no strings attached. That is until she meets Joe and Kim and her world changes forever on many levels. I was actually shocked at the depth of the story of this erotic read. I really enjoyed reading it.

And Holly Makes Three by Erica Sloane

rating ★★★★★
review:   HOT! Whew! This was a short one about a couple who have a lively sex life, but have never brought a third into their bed. Becoming sage (The Keyhole #1) by Kasi Alexander

rating:   ★★★★☆

recommended for those who love TPE, BDSM and Poly relationships

review: As I was reading this book, I was thinking it had a different tone or point of view and even now, I can't exactly put my finger on what in the content made it different. After reading the "author bio" at the end and learning that the author, Kasi Alexander is in a poly relationship and practices D/s, M/s in her relationship, it made me think: maybe that was the difference.

I wouldn't say this was necessarily a "dark" read, but it definitely wasn't fluffy! The story that unfolded described much of the conflict that I imagine would or could come into play in this type of relationship. I really enjoyed the story...as I am fascinated with this lifestyle. Though I never plan to live in a relationship such as this, I can appreciate the trials and tribulations the "family members" must face.

This is a recommended read for those of you who enjoy reading about poly relationships and the BDSM lifestyle.
