LEAN ON ME is the fourth installment in the MASTERS OF THE SHADOWLANDS series. If you haven't started this series, you are really missing the boat! The wonderful thing about this series is that the intensity increases ever so slightly with each installment, successfully preparing you to bust out of those BDSM training wheels.
Who knew being dominated could be so rewarding? Certainly not the tough as nails Andrea. The tough exterior she exudes is just a front. She a tough upbringing in a rough neighborhood and in conditions like that, the weak most certainly wouldn't survive. Despite her behavior, the "in-your-face" attitude is really not how she wants to live. Deep down, all she really wants is to submit to a man and relinquish all the control she has been forced to maintain for as long as she can remember. She needs a firm hand; a man who can successfully dominate her and bring pleasure to the pain she feels from her past.
Oh, how I enjoy Master Cullen. Watching Cullen's techniques as he learns to master her was fascinating and somewhat comical at times.
I loved this installment and I'm feeling fairly confident that the fifth book in this series will be no less entertaining. Although this series can be read as stand alones, characters from previous books will make appearances on occasion, so, to maximize your reading experience, it is recommended that this series be read in order.
