Whoever said that romanticizing violence is a bad thing, obviously never read any good MC books!
Author, Joanna Wylde's Reapers MC series is spot on if you are looking to get lost in a world of badass bikers who frequently walk on the wrong side of the law and are fiercely loyal to their clubs and protect their "old ladies" at all costs.
DEVIL’S GAME is appropriately named because there are a lot of evil shenanigans going on in this book. Hunter is a member of Devil's Jack, a rival motorcycle club & Em is the daughter of the Reapers' President, Picnic. Do you see the potential problem that this poses if they hook up? As luck would have it, they cross paths; and when they do, sparks fly and the shit hits the proverbial fan. In any motorcycle club, daily life can be crazy and at times, a little scary (ok, a lot scary) - there cannot be any question about where your loyalties lie as a member of any motorcycle club. So, when a member finds their loyalties are divided, they have to pick which one they are willing to die for. Obviously, when Hunter & Em realize they have genuine feelings for one another and they know that the choice they make can alter the paths of their lives. Their decision isn't easy and their actions were frustrating at times, but the journey is sexy and exciting and I loved every minute of it.
DEVIL’S GAME, the third book in the Reapers MC series can be read as a stand alone, in my opinion. I'm sure your reading experience will be enhanced by reading the series in order, but I didn't and I quite enjoyed books 1 & 3 and now, I'm backtracking and off to dive into book number 2 right away!
DEVIL’S GAME is sure to be a winner if you enjoy crazy possessive men who are rough around the edges and sexy as all get out.
