Description:
Sally Friday is a mess. Not only is she tortured by self-doubt, but she is also clumsy and has no fashion sense. However, these qualities are exactly what her boss is counting on when she sends her to spy on reclusive millionaire playboy, Roman Daniels. Sally, normally an office clerk for the gossip magazine, Normandy, interviews for the position as Roman’s new secretary.
His jealous PA, Antonia, immediately hires the girl, confident that her disheveled appearance will make her invisible to Roman’s wandering eye. Reliably disaster-prone, Sally makes a memorable first impression, and Roman wonders if he will survive her employment. But there is something about Sally that Roman can’t dismiss. Unlike every other woman, she is unswayed by his masculine good looks, and he keeps catching intriguing glimpses of her feminine potential. When Sally takes a midnight dip in his pool, Roman makes an eye-popping discovery: Sally is hiding a luscious hour-glass figure beneath those baggy clothes. Her hidden assets as well as her refreshing innocence have Roman hooked.
That is, until his growing feelings and fear of commitment get in the way and he decides to back off. With the help of Roman’s best friend Paul, Sally plays to Roman’s jealousy and gives him a taste of his own medicine. But what will Roman do when Sally's deceit is revealed?
REVIEW: 4 OF 5 STARS
According to the Urban Dictionary, “Hot Mess” is defined as: when a "person's appearance is in a state of total disarray while still maintaining an undeniable attractiveness" & allure.
That’s Sally Friday all day long.
Sally’s personal appearance leaves a lot to be desired, but her personality and overall aura is undeniably beautiful – she just needs a little help in the “putting-herself-together” department.
Sally’s boss, Norma, is, in my mind, a cross between the evil, Cruella De Vil (101 Dalmations) and the ruthless, Miranda Priestly (The Devil Wears Prada) – plain and simple, she sucks! Sally is riddled with self-doubt, so when the She-Devil, Norma, demands that Sally infiltrate the inner circle of the very handsome and powerful, millionaire playboy, Roman Daniels, as his new secretary, Sally is hesitant, but forges ahead, because she believes she has no other choice. Of-course, in the eyes of Roman’s personal assistant (who by the way is in love with Roman), Sally is the perfect prospect for the job because she is gawky, graceless and has a hideous fashion-sense. Roman would NEVER go for such an unattractive woman.
Historically, everyone has underestimated Sally Friday – including Sally Friday, but she possesses an undeniable charm that one cannot help but love if given the chance to get to know her. Although Roman is a notorious womanizer and tends to go after the “supermodel” types, he instantly gravitates towards Sally. He is uncertain what it is about her that captures his attention, because she is quite unsightly and is definitely not his usual type.
HIS GIRL FRIDAY has it all - romance, comedy, drama, heart-ache, moral dilemmas - there's a bit of everything all rolled into one very entertaining package. HIS GIRL FRIDAY is super fun! I LOVE Sally! Sally is the quintessential goofy girl and I LOVE IT when the “Ugly-Duckling” surprises everyone and snags the seemingly unobtainable man of every girl’s dreams!
If you are a lover of romantic comedies, HIS GIRL FRIDAY is the perfect choice! I’m already checking out what’s next by author, Ellen March – HIS GIRL FRIDAY has made me a fast-fan of her work!
INTERVIEW:
1. What do you do when you can't think of a thing to write?
Never had that, I suffer from the opposite, so many ideas, so little time LOL
2. Your heroine in HIS GIRL FRIDAY, Sally Friday, is “a mess” – she a terrible dresser, clumsy and insecure. Is she anything like you? If no, then does she possess qualities similar to anyone you know?
Oh dear she has a lot of my qualities, I’ve got no dress sense, yep I’m clumsy, say all the wrong things, speak first and put foot in mouth on a regular basis, can’t pronounce certain words as in some names of cheese and wine, but hell as long as someone understands that’s all I want.
3. Are you working on anything at the moment? If so, can you tell us a bit about it?
I’ve just finished revising A Ghost of an Affair again by Fanny Press which is out in October. When Grace has a bit of fun on a Ouija board, little does she realize the far reaching implications. And when sexy ghost Breece comes through she discovers he really is a hands on spook. Grace is torn between surgeon Sage, her arrogant overbearing boyfriend and her hot bed mate who turns her bones to mush. She wants, a partner with a pulse, along with the glorious sex that Breece gives her. But Grace can’t have it all. Can she?
4. If you could have drinks with any living author, who would it be and why?
Think Robyn Peterman, love her sense of fun and humor, and also K D Grace, Her Lakeland Witches are awesome.
5. Who is someone you really admire and why?
Hmmmm that’s a hard one. Think it’s got to be not one but lots, all those people that enter endurance trials for charity, they’ve got heart and commitment.
6. Does your family know you write sexy books or is that something you keep under wraps? Either way, what do they think about it or what would they think?
Yea they all know and are proud of me, although it was kept away from my 82 year old mother in law, until she discovered it and was shocked that they hadn’t told her. She didn’t see anything wrong; heck sex is the most natural act in the world were her words. And I couldn’t agree more.

Enter to Win!
Hello and welcome to my corner of the world :)
I live on top of a mountain in Wales ideal in the summer not so in
the winter months or when it rains, which is a lot in Wales!
My three children have left home, however my life is still manic. I
live with my husband he sadly won’t leave home but I live in hope
(joke). I have one suicidal cat that really does
have nine lives.
I have five Alaskan Malamutes. They own me literally as I never go
anywhere without taking their hair with me, they insist! My hobbies are
showing and working them.
My first love though is writing, it’s a total escape for me my
selfish time :) Writing my books takes me from the mundane chores of
work into another universe.
Since a child I devoured any written word and enjoy acting out my fantasies in print.
My ambition is to pack in my nine to five job and become a full time
writer. Another one of my many dreams. I have stockpiled work of
various genres, including my first love erotic romance,
followed by psychological thrillers and supernatural so be prepared I
am making my mark on the world of literature
