LOVE AND OTHER GAMES is a collection of four short stories all occurring at the Winter Olympics in Switzerland. They are all stand-alone stories with minor connections. I would say its like a rom-com marathon with lots of sexy included. Who knew the Winter Olympics were so hot?

Worth More Than Gold by Ana Blaze

"Steamy Viking sex"...yup. "That certainly explained the soreness in places she didn't know she had muscles."

Erik Andresen knows that he won't be getting any medals at his last Olympics and he's okay with that. He'll just enjoy and help the Norwegian Ski Jump team. After a drunken fling with "American Amy" he shows up to qualifying and jumps like he did before his big accident. Amazing. Everyone wants to know what got into him, but its more like who he got into and that was Amy. Amy Pierce is there to manage her little sister who is a star figure skater. One night out with her friend at an Olympic party and she's waking up with hazy memories in the bed of the hottest man she's ever met. She swears to forget this ever happened because she has a job to do. Erik hunts her down cause he knows she must be his good luck charm and he also can't stop thinking about her naked. (I can't stop thinking about Amy's description of Erik naked.) She agrees to spend time with the "Viking", as she nicknames him, but how long can she have him?

Let me tell you there is a scene on a train that is SO HOT!! Seriously, Ana Blaze writes some freaking sexy scenes. WORTH MORE THAN GOLD is well-written, fun, sexy, cute, on and on and on. I felt it was the perfect short story. Read it and enjoy.

Trouble With Gold by Melinda Dozier

US snowboarder and notorious prankster, Ty (Trouble) Madsen is only getting a taste of his own medicine when his Olympic teammates shackle him to a fence wearing nothing but his boxers.

Reception and protocol volunteer, Nadia Hoffman, gets up close and personal with the sexy snowboarder to rescue him, but she's not the kind of girl who lets her hormones get in her way.  A professional performance could help her land her dream job at Olympics Committee Headquarters, but her new assignment supervising the rambunctious US Snowboarding Team is making that difficult.

My Review: Trouble With Gold

A career-driven and serious girl meets an playboy prankster with the nickname Trouble. A little trouble can be really good.

Nadia Hoffman is a serious, no nonsense, goal-focused Swiss babe working as a volunteer in order to obtain a job with the Olympic Committee. Ty "Trouble" Madsen is a sexy snowboarder looking to win the gold, but enjoying life along the way. Everyone sees Nadia as someone who can't have fun...she's too worried about her future and making her father happy. Now she wants to prove she can be fun and what better way to do that than a little action with the fun-loving snowboarder she found handcuffed in freezing temperatures wearing only his boxers? I'm talking underwear in the outdoor hot tub kind of fun. OH YES!!. Ty and Nadia have undeniable chemistry, but she's intent on pushing him away to focus on her job. He's determined to make her see otherwise and he can be VERY convincing.

I love this short story! Melinda Dozier manages to pull you in and create a wonderful story in a little amount of time. It was like watching a really funny and sexy romantic comedy. Perfect, well-written light read. Want a complete story in a afternoon? TROUBLE WITH GOLD is for you.

The Girl Behind the Gold by Aria Kane

Greek aerial skier Lia Milonas’s parents are about to lose the family farm. Saving it means medaling and landing a huge sponsor. While her no-nonsense attitude has her well on her way to a medal, it hasn’t won her a place in fans' hearts.

My Review: The Girl Behind the Gold

Lia Milonas hates the press she must do for her aerial skiing career. Brandon James is a member of the press she who makes her feel as no other man has and can help her solve the problem no one really knows about.

Lia's family in Greece is on the verge of losing their family farm and their only hope are the sponsorships that come with being an Olympic medalist. Problem is that Lia isn't "likeable" and the media coverage of her doesn't endear her to the fans, therefore, no sponsors. There is a girl with a story, but all anyone sees is a fierce competitor looking to win the gold. Brandon is a journalist looking for a never-been-heard Olympic story. Brandon will do what he has to get the story and lucky him that the story is tied up in a sexy little package that is Lia.  They can help each other, but their mutual attraction is the only thing that takes the focus off their goals.

Brandon is good at the dirty talk and seems to be good at a lot of other things too :). Lia needs to wake up and play the media game! Luckily, Brandon steps in cause you kind of want to scream at Lia to stop being so stubborn. THE GIRL BEHIND THE GOLD is a heartwarming and sexy short story. Good, light read that you won't regret.

Ice Gold by Kara Leigh Miller

Colton Campbell thrives on the fast paced, adrenaline rushed lifestyle of being an Olympic hockey player. My Review: Ice Gold

WARNING: Hot hockey player may melt the ice!!

Brenna Jessup is being sent on assignment as the official photographer for the US Olympic Hockey team. Only problem, she has a bad history with Olympic athletes and sexy star center Colton Campbell has set his sights on her. He's everything she despises about athletes..cocky, arrogant, but damn if that southern charm doesn't set her panties on fire!  Cole sees her iceberg attitude as a challenge because women usually throw themselves at him. Brenna is determined to be a professional and keep Cole at arm's length, but the chemistry is undeniable.

The testy banter between these two while Brenna tries to convince herself she's not going to jump him is priceless. She is betrayed by her body every time she puts up a fight and Cole is relentless. The things he does to melt her icy exterior are hilarious and she gives it right back. I loved his charm and wit and sexy sense of humor. Cole is a new favorite character!!
