Reviews are all over the place for THE LAST BOYFRIEND, but I gotta tell ya - I really liked it!

Lucky is the heartbroken heroine who has sworn off men forever, well, forever until she meets her last boyfriend – you know, the last man she will call a boyfriend because she is going to marry him? Lucky has a solid plan and if her potential “last boyfriend” doesn’t fit into those preset parameters, then all bets are off, do not pass go – the man won’t stand a chance… Sometimes things just don’t work out as planned, and sometimes they work out perfectly!

Meet Zane. Zane is the mega-rich playboy who sports a new chick on his arm every Friday night; taking them all on the same date the local diner - conveniently, where Lucky waits tables. This handsome dose of mysterious man-candy might just be what the doctor ordered, but try tell that to Lucky. She wants no part of what’s sure to be heartbreak wrapped in a delicious package.

Then there is Braydon. Braydon is the Hollywood heartthrob that every woman wants, but he only has eyes for Lucky. He is absolutely perfect in every way. He falls right in line with Lucky’s plan, but there is something slightly off… not quite right. She can’t quite put her finger on it.

With both handsome hunks, all is not as it seems. Lucky soon discovers that preconceived notions and rules must be tossed aside and at the end of the day the best plan is to follow the heart (and gut).

THE LAST BOYFRIEND was a fun and entertaining contemporary romance and a fairly quick read which makes it perfect for a relaxing day lounging on the beach!
